T swears that weird things are happening today. At least three that he can name off the top of his head. Number one: he left his finger skateboard on the bedroom floor and of that he is certain, but when he returned five minutes later, IT WAS ON THE BED...gasp. That is very strange for something in his room to not be on the floor! Number two: his dirty clothes- specifically a pair of underwear but I'm sure he doesn't want that announced, so pretend you didn't hear- were not on the floor where he left them. Can't remember the exact story behind that one, but in his eyes, they were moved when he was out of the room by some unseen force. Number three: about ten minutes after being put to bed, Little Man came out looking for Mama. He fell--probably tripped over a toy--T was convinced he was pushed..pushed?? He immediately began quizzing -"did someone push you?" For someone to trip over a toy in our house--very strange indeed. I'm poking fun, but he was serious.
The man in brown is an undercover bomber. During supper the doorbell rang. T got up to look out kitchen window to see who it was and announced "It's the UPS man and oh my gosh Mama he just ding dong ditched us! He's running down the driveway." That's what they do when they leave a package. He wants to get off work sometime tonight. "No, Mama, I mean he is really running. I can't believe he ding dong ditched us! You should report him." Just go get the package. He returns. "You should have seen how fast he was driving away!" as he THROWS the package against the wall and runs to the other side of the room. When questioned regarding his rude behavior and that it could be breakable, he responds, "No way, it's probably a bomb and that's why he wanted to get out of here so fast!" So it's good to throw a bomb against the wall? He was so serious that I had to laugh. He was really contemplating that it could be a bomb based on the fact that we were obvioulsy ding dong ditched, and why would we be ding dong ditched if it weren't a bomb? My next question to him was- how do you know what ding dong ditched means?
