That is water he is shaking off of the tree as he pulls on the limbs. There was a light very wet snowfall the night before.

All of a sudden the mama gave a loud and long snort and turned and ran. Baby followed and the bull followed them.

If you look back through the July posts, there is one of this same cow and calf. We (neighbors and I) thought they were the same two, since we've seen them several times in the same area. We weren't sure though until she looked back at the July pictures and compared. The calf was much smaller and the mama much scrawnier, but mama has a scar somewhere on her face that matched in both sets of pictures. It's cool to see the difference in them.

That crazy bull has been hanging around the two of them since the beginning of September.
