Orphaned Fawn
How does one sleep like that? Talk about a head rush.
Story time at the zoo yesterday. They read a story about a "baby deer." Then we all walked "behind the scenes" to watch a fawn be fed. (I'm not sure why they kept calling it a baby deer instead of a fawn.) It was found about 2 weeks ago in Juneau and brought to the zoo. She was bouncing all over the place, running and jumping. She was so darn cute. Enough to make you want to work at a zoo......until you realize all the other jobs that go with the cute jobs. Like this guy you see behind the baby deer. He starts his job and the bottle holder says, "oh, just ignore him. Something something stimulate to poop." Okaaayy....ya coulda warned us before you started feeding. All the kids thought it was hilarious.
