TV...Miracle Cure?

Emma went to bed with no problems last night. Against our better judgement (we don't even have a tv in our room,) we've been telling her that if she stays in bed at night then she can have a tv in her room. Her staying in bed is hit or miss, but since she stayed Friday night and only yelled for me a couple of times, we figured we better reward her or she'd never get the reward. So, Cal hooked up the "old" camper tv and the living room dvd player (that we never use.) She started watching 'Dr. Doolittle 2' right after bath. I tucked her in at bedtime and the movie was half over. She got up when it was over to see what Matthew, who was already tucked in, was doing. Cal turned the movie back on and got her back in bed. We debated the next 30 minutes as to what would happen next. He was sure she would fall asleep watching the movie. I was sure that she was too strong willed and would stay awake for the entire movie, then want to get up. A check at 10pm showed she was asleep and the tv still on. Cal was right. BUT, how long did it take? He said it didn't matter how long, as long as she wasn't getting out of bed every 3 minutes. Good point.
